    Online Registration

    • Parents who wish to enroll a student who is not currently attending any BUSD schools, please click the link below. This link will take you to  an external site to begin your online registration.
    • If you are unable to upload your students documents into OLR please or  you have paper enrollment packet(s) come into our office to complete your child's enrollment. 
    • All required documents are on the next tab.

    Central Enrollment Center has computers available to parents to complete an online registration.
    Paper Packets are also available in our office.

Required Documents for Enrollment

    • Driver's License or ID Card
    • Government Issued ID with photo
    • Passport

    • Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipt – a service to the house.
    • Pay stub
    • Mail/Letter from government agency
    • Monthly mortgage statement
    • Escrow Papers
    • Current rental/lease agreement
    • Rent receipt with name, address, date, phone number and signature of the owner/manager

    ALL PROOF OF RESIDENCY MUST BE DATED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE APPOINTMENT TO ENROLL.

    • Approved inter-district transfer if not residing in the Barstow USD Boundaries

    • Court paperwork must be certified with court stamp (Custody, Restraining Orders, Educational Rights, & Foster Documents)

    By Law, if parents are legally separated or divorced, each parent has equal rights to the custody to the child/children UNLESS the parent has court order that indicates differently.*

    The school MUST HAVE A COPY OF THE COURT ORDER on file. Otherwise, either parent may check the child out of school, obtain education information as well as make educational decisions with proper identification.

    *A custody order may supersede the rights granted by Education Code. Education code 21101 enumerates parents rights regarding school. Subsection (d) Limits those rights when they conflict with a valid restraining order, protective order, or order for custody or visitation issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • BUS TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION


    All middle school and high school students that live within the District-defined walking distance from their school are not eligible for school bus transportation. Additionally, transportation may not be available to any elementary school student who resides within the walking distance to their school or to any student that is not attending their home school.  Students who reside outside the boundaries of Barstow Unified School District are not eligible for school bus transportation.

    THE ANNUAL UPDATE WINDOW FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN!


    The Annual Update also know as Emergency Contact Updates, includes verification of household information, such as addresses and phone numbers, as well as emergency contact information, updates to health information, and permissions for yearbook and media photo releases. To complete the Annual Update, please sign into your Infinite Campus parent portal account and click on the three lines in the upper left hand corner then click on Online Registration, followed by 2025-2026 Annual Update. 

     If you do not have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, please complete this Infinite Campus Parent Portal Support form to obtain your activation key. The form can also be submitted if you need your parent portal password reset. If you do not have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, please visit our district website, Barstow Unified School District, click on the green Infinite Campus widget (to the right), and complete the form for new account creation or password reset.  If accessing on a mobile phone, click the three lines in the upper left hand corner, then scroll down to Quicklinks, tap the + symbol, then tap Infinite Campus.

    FOR PARENTS WITH ENROLLED STUDENTS THAT HAVE AN INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL SET UP, PLEASE CLICK THE IMAGE BELOW TO LOGIN INTO PARENT PORTAL AND SUBMIT AN ANNUAL INFORMATION UPDATE.

  • If you DO NOT have a parent portal set up please follow the following  steps to activate your portal.

    1. To obtain your Activation Code (GUID number) contact  your child's school site or you can visit the CEC (must present valid ID).
    2. Click Here Barstow Unified School District Log-in to be redirected to the parent portal link.
    3. Click the Campus Parent button
    4. Click New User?
    5. Enter your Activation Key
    6. Enter your information to create your account
    7. After your account has been created, return to log in screen to enter your Username and Password.
