Dear Central High Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement with your students. The first day of school will be Wednesday, August 6, and we look forward to seeing all our students back on campus, ready to start strong.

Reminder that Wednesday, August 6th and Thursday, August 7th are minimum days. Your schedule will be the same as it was at the end of last school year. If you were a morning student you will have a morning schedule. If you were an afternoon student you will have an afternoon schedule. Schedules will be handed out on the first day of school.

Please mark your calendars for Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 27. This will be a great opportunity to meet our team, hear about classroom expectations, and learn more about the resources available to support your student this year.

We want to make you aware that there have been several important updates to our Student Handbook. Please take a moment to review these changes with your student so everyone is informed and set up for success.

Last year, our 11th-grade students were incredibly productive and set a high standard for academic focus and engagement. We are excited to continue that momentum and are aiming to break records with this year’s graduating class!

Thank you for being a vital part of the Central High community. Let’s make 2025–2026 a year to remember!

Warm regards,

David Van Norman, Principal
